Ms. Kamau: (Flips a book, scans through, pauses) Sorry for that. Seems like Omollo Binairo checked out minutes ago.
Karanja: Is he coming back?

Officer: Alright. You can call this number, (gives her a card) that is if you see him.
Ms. Kamau: Alright, will look into that.

Omollo: Oh my! What police?
Ms. Kamau: They said they're hunting down a man running with a huge debt.
Omollo: Oh, I'm gonna get out of this place. It is not safe for me.
Ms. Kamau: But you had paid for a week stay?
Omollo: Don't mind men's hard earned money gets lost in many ways. What did you tell them?
Ms. Kamau: They said they'll be back. You're lucky they didn't offer me money, I would have turned Judas and betray you with a kiss.
Omollo: (shakes her hand with a note) Don't snitch. (He then walks to room no17, stacks his suitcase and leaves the restaurant. Five moments later, he comes back).
Omollo: Changes are inevitable.
Ms. Kamau: Seems like your money doesn't get lost just like that!
Omollo: I'm enough man to fight my fears. Running away is for the weak. I AM BINAIRO THE BIG CITY!
Ms. Kamau: Seems like so, fear is for the weak.

Ms. Kamau: Says a man who who had fled few minutes ago. Hahaa! Anyways.
Omollo: I had gone to collect my self together. Do you have airtime on your phone? Can I...? (Chambermaid cuts in).
Ms. Kamau: Yes, but, you can use restaurant's cell, every room has one. Same room, though it hasn't been attended since the few minutes you left.
Omollo: Thanks. I'm okay and can handle it. I'm a man you know. (He leaves. Chamber maid is left rearranging the secretary desk.)

Akoth: Oh me! Good God come to my rescue!
Omollo: Let me speak to my daughter. Is she breathing?
Musyoka: If you let my money speak to me, I can let you speak with your daughter.
Omollo: Argh!
Akoth: (Screams loudly) Daddy. I can't breathe!
Omollo: She has nothing to do with your money.
Musyoka: (covers phone mouthpiece with his palms and speaks to Bura). She's disturbing our peace. You can bring her to the backseat where we can monitor her and wrap her mouth. (Turns back to the phone call as Bura does as instructed) How can she be out of this while she got your genes? Omollo, we got her we got you!
Omollo: Argh. Alright, your bag and I are here waiting for you. Hasten! (He hangs up, pack's litters in a bag top-laying few 1k notes, rinses his face on the sink, does his tie and walks out of the room with a loaded backpack. There's no one on the secretariat's desk, he walks out of the restaurant).
Light's fade out.
SCENE 3
(In the busy streets of the city; darkness is creeping in for the night as buildings pop lights lighting the darkening streets. Omollo walks behind and between buildings, the path is full of trash. Stinking aroma arrests the pathway's atmosphere and a couple of house flies buzz behind him. He walks carefully, jumping over dry-fresh mountainous piles. He walks few more steps and stands besides a heap of garbage, to his left two young street looking dresses are sited on stones conversing; Omollo's ears gradually gets interested. Their names are Morio and Wazenza. Two men; covered in a navy blue suit, white shirt and a colorful tie, of God with a Bible and flip photo chart passes by, stands by and preaches about the coming of the Messiah.
Men of God: Repent! (In a loud and very clear voice) Stop homosexuality! Repent! God judges sin! Repent and live holy for the Messiah is coming! (They then approach the two women and takes them through the photo flip chart; it had pictures of people in their previous ill status and pictures of them after receiving miraculous healing. The pictures were true and unedited, they also take Omollo through them. After, with amplified voice...)
Men of God: We welcome you all for our Sunday Service at MoRaH Church, Kiamaiko immediate opposite of the chief's camp is our church. Come so that we prepare for the second coming of the Messiah. Karibuni sana! (They walk out of the scene. Omollo sits on the remaining stone closer to the women).
Morio: You saw the pictures... the other day I saw live on TV how that church's prophets prophesied and decreed heavens open, they obeyed, opened and let rain fell.
Wazenza: Yes, I saw, it was even trending number one on twitter. I saw blind eyes pop open! Imagine at 20+ years you receive your sight for the first time?
Morio: Wazenza, or we stop these things and turn back to the Lord, and wait for his coming?
Wazenza: And the way money and beer feeds my small mind with anxieties and they are things of the world.
Morio: You are saying you. Me I don't know whether the Lord can even forgive me. Neighbors call me gay and rumours say I'm surviving with ARVs.
Wazenza: I heard there's no sin He can't forgive.
Morio: Okay. Let that (they both look the bank) guard beat that corner, we perpetrate this robbery for the last time so that we can turn back to the Lord.
Morio and Wazenza: (Together simultaneously) With cash! (They both smile and gets into action leaving Omollo behind with shock. In about fifty meters from Omollo; on the same path, arrives American machine and out comes Omollo with Akoth holding her rope tied hands. Omollo stands with his bag and approaches Musyoka).
Omollo: Hey! Stop there! Seems like you playing dumb. Who else in the car?
Musyoka: Nkt! You can look over it! (Omollo sneaks his eyes in, doesn't see a sign of a thing).
Omollo: My daughter first.
Musyoka: My money first!
Omollo: No! My daughter first.
Musyoka: No! My money first!
Omollo: Alright. (Hands him the bag, Musyoka let's go of Akoth, she runs to her father, hugs him with a lengthy embrace. Musyoka tries opening the bag).
Twa! Twa! Twa! (Gunshots from the close by bank where Morio and Wazenza went to rob occupies the air which distracts people, they try to hide and run out of the scene).
Musyoka: (Throws the bag to the backseat of his machine and rides away. Omollo and his daughter runs out the scene taking the same direction he came with back to the restaurant).
