Omollo Binairo Act 4 - The Law Bender

 SCENE 1

Inside the police car. Officer 1 is driving, next to him is officer 2. Omollo, Musyoka and Karanja are sitted at the back. 


Musyoka: Afande, my kidneys are pressing. I want to pee.


Officer 2: (As he turns to face Musyoka) Pee there! (He gives him a mighty slap.)  Parr! (Musyoka wets his pants. Omollo and Karanja looks terrified)

Musyoka: Afande we can talk.

Officer 2: Nyang'au! You can talk in jail! (He then looks at Omollo, Omollo's face lands on the officer 2's palm. Parr! his jaw is hurt) Mateka! This is not an uber! Sit up! 

Officer 1: Murder, violence and illigal arms and you want to talk?

Officer 2: (To officer 2) Namba, maybe he got something tangible. (to Musyoka) Okay, talk.

Musyoka: 100k.

Officer 2: For a life sentence? Unaongea kama mtoto! Kijana, talk like a man!

Karanja: But officer, how can you negotiate with a criminal caught on the act?

Officer 1: Are you yourself clean? You too is a criminal! How dare you correct the law!

Officer 2: (Puts Karanja in handcuffs) You too will talk in jail!

Musyoka: I can Get you 900 from my safe. If we can  get to my place.

Officer 1: Atleast you're talking! 

(The police car maneuvers through dimly lit streets, its tires crunching over gravel. Officer 1 maintains a stern expression, eyes on the road. Officer 2 remains alert, glancing at the suspects in the rearview mirror. Omollo and Karanja exchange nervous glances).


Scene 2

The car parks in front of  a gated home. Officer 2 gets off and walks Musyoka out of the car to the house. Officer 1 is left behind keeping his eyes on Omollo and Karanja.

(Musyoka leads the Officer to the bedroom. he opens the wardrobe and tries to get his safe but he fails).

Musyoka: Afande, I cant fetch the safe with my hands in cuffs.

Beyond Constriction ACT 1 Mid evening In Nairobi 2016 Scene 1 (It's mid evening in Nairobi at Afya Center front street; the street is busy with congested urban Nairobi buses and people are walking up and down, shop to shop, each minding own business apart from kamageras who'd grab people they make eye contact with asking them to board their matatu  by force.
