Who got the bag part 1 (intro) at the Junkyard

At the Junkyard

Few young men and women are getting high on drugs. Some are smoking marijuana, some cigarettes and rolls of weed contaminated with heroin, and some are high on smurf. Buda, a peddler is surrounded by several people who are waiting to buy drugs from him. He's drooling signalling zombie mode.

Buyer 1: Kicks Buda on the shoes to wake him. Buda you haven't given back my change. I just gave you 100. That hundred note you're holding with your left hand.

Buda: Oh, my bad. He fishes for coins in his money bag and give him 50.

Pitah: As he is passing behind Buda. Those of cigarettes

Buyer 3: Give me 3 sportsman. He hands Pitah 45 shillings. Pitah takes the money, taps cigarette pack three times, removes three cigarettes and gives them to buyer 3.

Buyer 3: As he takes the cigarettes. Do you have a lighter?

Pitah: I'm selling cigarettes and I can't lack one. Let me light it for you. He fishes the lighter, takes the cigarette and lights it.

Waweru, Bena, Manu and Njoro are spotted from a distance approaching the Junkyard.

Manu: Who will top up with 20 we buy bag instead of blunts?

Njoro: I have 10. As he is giving Manu. Bena top up with 10 cos yesterday you contributed nothing.

Bena: Baana jo my men, today's like yesterday, my wallet is still grieving.

Waweru: I have 5. Give me that 40, I'll talk to Buda. Manu gives him.

As they get closer to the junkyard, Waweru heads to where Buda's sited  while the rest wait for him.

Waweru: Buda, is how my man?  They🤜🤛

Buda: Today we rolled perfectly. How much do you want?

Waweru: I have 45, play like you my man.

Buda: No problem. But it will be filed as debt. He gives Waweru a bag and three joints. They 🤜🤛.

Waweru takes the bag and the joints, exits the junkyard and heads towards his fellows who are walking towards the railway line.

Waweru: My men, Buda filed a debt again just like he did yesterday. (pause) Who has a lighter?

Manu: I have it. As he is removing the lighter, Waweru hands him a blunt and Manu lights it.

Njoro: Ati Buda filed a debt for the bag?

Bena spots torchlight, they hear heavy steps approaching and notices two policemen. Manu hurriedly dims the blunt and they all run in different directions.

The two policemen are left stranded on the railway line, confused  and undecided who to run after.

 Lights off !
